“Another 5 star review for this place. I took in my Banana Republic sunglasses that were a gift. One of the lenses kept falling out and eventually the screw came out as well. I left them here without any receipt – just the word of the employee that she would give me a call (I think it was Marla but I can’t be sure).
I almost forgot about them, and a couple of days later I was going to call to see what the deal was. Right before I called, I got a call, telling me that everything was fixed & ready to go. First question out of my mouth “How much will it be?” fearing the worst since this is a nice store in a nice neighborhood.
“There’s no charge.”
WOW! I was very impressed. Great customer service and my sunglasses not only got the screw back in but the lens stays in too! I will definitely be back for all of my optical needs, especially since I live closeby. Great local business!!!” – Mischa S.
“I get compliments on my new sunglasses every time I wear them. And I have Montana Eyes to thank for making me look much cooler than I really am. The selection at Montana Eyes is sort of perfectly balanced — there are collections by a large (but not overwhelmingly so) variety of designers to browse through. But the store still has a very intimate feeling.
It’s clear you’re not in Sunglass Hut or some other soulless retail chain — and I like that. The service you get is head and shoulders above what you would get at one of those McEyewear stores. The people who work there are fashionable, friendly, and they’re clearly experts on the products they carry. The first pair of glasses they had me try on is the pair I ended up getting (after trying on a dozen others).
As far as designer sunglasses go, their prices are totally reasonable. In sum, I’m stoked on my glasses (brown plastic frame aviator-inspired Christian Roths). Well done, Montana Eyes.” – Laura C.
“I have been getting my lenses here for 5 years and figured it was about time to give these people some credit. I just came back from picking up my latest pair. They somehow did prescription lenses and in-house custom tint in 24 hours. And I didn’t even say I was in a rush.
Prices: I know you are thinking Montana Ave is posh and it is going to be spendy here. Wrong. Marla’s price was almost half what I was paying on Abbott Kinney.
You could get your glasses at Sunglasses Hut or one of the big chains, but why would you want to that when these guys are better, cheaper, faster? Plus, they make me feel great every time I walk in the door.” – David S.
